These medium-hard stones work well with all steel types including Aogami super and harder powdered blends like R2. They are fast cutting, meaning you can sharpen quickly and effectively and require minimal flattening.
This #400 Grit Rough Stone is ideal for bringing the edge back on very dull knives, doing minor repair work and changing bevels.
